Mehhh who sez I don't blog! I've been having such an eventful.. period. of time.

Yeah, well last week actually marked the end of the shower of assignments.. Now only need to adjust my group presentation with my unimates and then it's time to hit the books, finals drawing near.

Anyways, gotta share what happened on Friday when I went down to Johor to find b and check out the production plant of a company I would be interning in. So I reached the place, and my boss-to-be tells me he isn't it, tells me he's been waiting for me since morning and I didn't call to tell him I'll when I'll be arriving.

Ironically on Thursday I asked "Sir I call you when I reach Johor okay?" and he said okay.

Bugger man. So then he and his company people were at JB settling some company matters, said could only meet me in 2 hours time. "Ok sir it's okay so then maybe can I just come over to see your company?"

"No cannoott, nobody there today all of them here. Also, the company is the company, the production plant is elsewhere."

"Oh where's the plant then?"

"Erm you call this number 016-XXXXXXX... look for Mr Chin."

"Ok thanks." *tries to call like more than 15 times non stop engaged and it still enters voicemail.

*calls boss again* "Sir I tried to call but he never pick up.. keep on liddat la."

"Liddat ah.. liddat ah.. can't you wait for awhile until 430 like go yumcha at a kopitiam then later I come meet you?"

"Er it's okay la I wanna go see the factory, don wanna go back KL too late (actually cuz I wanna go see my gf la ._.)"

"okay okay *gives me address* aiyoh u really cannot wait until 430 meh? really la that place u really donno how to go wan, why not you wait then I bring you there? you drive here alone or with your dad?"

"with my dad (my cousin actually.)"

"oh ya wait for me la.. easier.." *eventually I insisted and tried to look for the place on my own*

anyways, up to this point I started to remember that freaky experience with the con car rental.. and I started to think that maybe, that this company could be a hoax too. They didn't ask for my resume. Though they said it's their first time accepting interns, even so I believe resume is the most basic you can request especially when you hire someone. Also, when I dialed to their company, noone answered and it eventually redirected me to this other woman, who also referred to me to my boss-to-be, Mr Koh. Everything led back to him and the website is kinda crap.

Ok anyways whether it was true or not, doesn't matter. Fast forward a minutes later after a meal with cousin, we decided to at least go look at the plant to see whether it was a hoax anot. Made our way on the freaking Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang (*hi*hole) , just when I was going down a road that joins to the main road, while the entire road is jam from where I was even up to the main highway road.. I was slowly moving into the main road, n it was jam mah right so I was stationary, couldnt move front or back. I was stationary with the front right corner of my car slightly sticking out from my lane, when suddenly this KKKKKRAAAAAKKKKKK sound shocked me and my cousin.

THIS TRUCK CRASHED INTO MY RIGHT REAR VIEW MIRROR. SLOWLY. I couldn't get out of the freaking car. Eventually reversed and did, got off the car and argued with the freaking dude. Indian man kept saying I makan his lane. I WAS IN A JAM. SO WAS HE. Eventually didn't settle, went report police.

So eventually the investigator wanted to know what happened. Right after I explained it and said that I was stationary, he said "Dia jalan besar, you jalan kecil. You salah."

WTH.

"tapi.. tapi saya tak gerak"

"oh ni you punya pasal, you memang salah you nak accept ke tak nak pasal you."

*this went on for about like 5 mins*

So I got summoned for that, and found out I was fighting a losing case. But I mean, at least la say you understand my point of view and explain that you cannot override this law. Anyways cousin says that dude was just freakin evil, pure evil aura oozing outta him even sun wu kong can smell from a mile away. Screw malaysian government workers with attitudes, this guy really had an attitude. I personally don't have anything against gov workers, just this particular cocky sad old whateverhedeservestobecalled.

Mad week right. I know. fml.

Stranger Danger!!

Sorry for the lack of updates from cheezo recently, this blog really seem to be slowly transforming into my own personal blog, instead of ours. Ahah. Anyways, there's this incident that happened to us while i was in KL last week, which i feel i ought to talk about and

Create some awareness

So, it was pretty much my last day there, and Cheez had to return his car, because his parent's needed it. We decided to look up for car rental services, as i have to make my way to KLIA
at 5 in the morning , the very next day. So hee went ahead to search for car rental services online,
and got a number from this certain private dealer. And went ahead to call and make plans.

Their cheapest deal was a saga for about 180 for two days. Reasonably cheap. Then we went ahead to talk about how to go about with the transaction and et cetra. The woman on the line was an Indian lady. And she said, we don't deliver the car to hotels ( We were putting up at one that night ) only to a house. So i would need a house address. Anyone's would do, even a friend's.

Weird right?

I mean what about tourists who want to rent cars?? How are they gonna get a house address to rent the car with? Lol! So , Cheez had to explain that his girlfriend (me) is not Malaysian and we're putting up at a hotel. So after much consideration, she reluctantly agreed. Then we offered to pick the car up from the office, and she said if we want to pick the car up, we'd have to leave behind our motorbikes behind.

??????????????

If we had a motorbike , TELL ME WHY would we even be needing a car?

Okay, so that time we thought, oh! maybe because they've had many cases of their own cars being stolen and really wants to take every bit of precaution to prevent that from happening.
Given them the benefit of a doubt. She said, payment of the car would me in CASH, upon arrival and the car would reach us at about 9.30 PM.

And so we waited

and waited

and waited even more

And the clock striked 11 PM, something was amiss. So cheez called back the Indian lady who gave him the number of the person sending the car over. And gave directions , he said the delay was due to a traffic jam. Traffic jam from kepong when he could have taken the highway to Damansara? And pardon me, a traffic jam at 10pm at night?

It was almost 11.30 and the person delivering the car called, the first voice he heard was a 'hello' with the woman's voice! The exact woman that he called who was apparently at her office ! Then on the next 'Hello' it was a guy's tone. They said they have arrived and asked us to head down.

Our hotel 's reception was on the second floor, thus we were able to look down and observe. We saw them getting out of a big white car. But we didn't see any SAGA ! The windows of the Big white car were VERY TINTED. Two indian man got out and said over the phone . ' We left the car at the Shell petrol station nearby, get into the white car and we'll take you there.

IT CAME CLEAR THAT IT WAS ALL A HOAX!

I told cheez to switch his phone off, and got the reception to make sure that they let non of the people into the hotel. We got one of the receptionist to take a look at the window, observe the men and explained the situation to him.

The next day, we rented a car from HAWK . A proper car rental company, for another SAGA, which was more expensive of course but definitely saved us the scare and alot of trouble.

Imagine what would happened if we entered that car... We should have found it odd from the moment they told us that they needed a house address.

To rob the house???

So guys, please me wary and aware. The company is Called 'DM Holidays' And they're one big hoax !It's sad that because of people like these, reliable private dealers get their businesses affected as well. For us, it's a lesson learnt. No private dealers for us anymore!! We could have gotten robbed and killed or kidnapped? Who knows?? Even until now thinking about the incident sends shivers down my spine. So everyone, please be alert and wary of them and many others out there just like them. It pays to look for for the little and tiniest details while making such transactions. Or maybe paying abit more for a reliable company really is just worth the money after all.

Time is running out

This post, is on the couple remaining days i spent in KL, and i'm glad i got to meet up and spend it with Cheez and Jun. Oh , and not forgetting Louis, Eddie + the cute Brownie (Jun's doggie) & Richie (Eddie's doggie) xD Forgot to take both of their pictures !!! :(

Anyways it's been awhile since i met up with Jun already, the last time was when we celebrated her birthday on my one day trip up to KL. xD

Btw, Usually when i go KL, you'll see me meeting up with almost the same bloggers. But, those are the ones, whom i've know since i started out blogging. And have maintained a friendship with for almost 2 years edi. :) From blogging friends to real ones.And i'm very thankful to have met them. Of cos, i'm looking forward to meeting new ones too! :)

Picked Jun up as usual at her place, went to play with brownie abit first. At first she was dam scary, cos when we parked outside the house, she started barking at us edi T-T

After playing with brownie, all of us headed to Pavillion for food, the last time we were there was two years back when all of us first met together with Chris. Nostalgic ; -)

I'm back from KL guys !! That's 5 days of no internet access too. I don't know how i'm able to do that, when i'm usually always glued to my computer at home. hahaha

KL was really fun, & i got to see cheez again! KL has so much to offer!
Shopping, Food , Etc... And i get to make use of our currency exchange rates :p

I still remember the first move we watched together.. which you thought was boring ahhaha. Apparently the most boring show on earth. LOL. I thought you may have found it qute (quite cute) even tho there wasn't a single word properly pronounced in a human manner throughout the entire flick.. For those who are wondering, it's Disney Pixar's Wall-E. Google it..

Anyways, almost everytime we meet in Singapore we're bound to watch a movie, be it on the com, on cable or even on the silver screen.. And for some reason no matter how early we plan to watch a flick, we'd end up booking tickets to a show with a cinema that's almost full. To avoid that sometimes we'll head down to the box office itself and purchase our tickets there and then (not like you can 'make' the cinema any emptier by doing so lol). Obviously after having surveyed the emptiness of the cinema first..

So if you're last min ppl, like us.. what we'd usually do is this

Need a time machine?

If you guys have been previous readers of Abby's previous blog here, you'd probably remember her writing a post about parents being overprotective, if not you can check it out here. Well today i'll be harping on the topic of Parent's who are still stuck in the last century. Yes, i mean Parents in their early/late 40s or 50s who are just as old fashioned as my great grandmother. Because even my grandmother has accepted the ideas of the 21st century. Well most of it.

To be honest, I have friends who have overprotective parents, like those really serious kind.. I'll try and list some of the traits of old fashioned/conservative parents and also state the effect on a child's growth by living with such parents.

"I want you to grow up to be a doctor/lawyer/engineer"

(and they dismiss other studies ie psychology, mass comm..) Sounds familiar? I dare say a majority of teens who grew up in a typical chinese family with OLD FASHIONED PARENTS would have suffered from this mindset. We were built for so much more, God made each and everyone of us different with different passion, strengths and weaknesses in life. While I agree that the aforementioned jobs are safe,secure and provide a decent income, I also strongly believe that passion is a driver.

For anything in life. Whatever we do, it is done at our best when done with passion. Growing up with such parents could hinder a child's true potential, if his parents do not identify his character, strengths and weaknesses.. as these will truly assist the child to realize and be more keen on focusing on not only his personal education, but also whatever it takes to achieve his dream/job interests, filled with passion.

"Why do you need to have a boy/girlfriend?''

You're a student,the duty of a student is not this! The duty of a student is.. *insert definition here, long nag by parents* You want to do all this you do after you out of *insert level of study here*"

First they question you in such of a manner as though it is wrong that you have feelings for someone of the opposite sex and engaged into a relationship with your other half. These parents know it all, and they are justified by their appreciation for education (which exists because they had parents that did not care if they made it or not when studying). Those were the times where people couldn't care less if people were getting themselves educated, it was like the odds for your child to graduate from a course (ok maybe not course), i mean from college, the odds for your child to graduate are slimmer than winning money on the roulette. Things that they themselves missed out as parents?

1. Parents then did NOT care. about their child studying. In fact some didn't even care at all. Notice how parents now learnt to be thankful and appreciative of education WITHOUT the care. Something's are best self learnt. Life is a great teacher, don't rob your children from the precious life tutorials.

2. After graduating from uni, it DOES NOT MAKE YOU KING. Depriving your child of certain amount of freedom and then promising them you do WHATEVER you want after ur done wit studies? Dont. That's like teasing a lion with a steak outside of its lion cage. And the person holding the steak is actually shocked (doh.) when the lion prances on him with aggression when it is let out of the cage. This treatment from parents actually spoils most children and cause them to grow up to be adults that act childish and like spolit brats.

3."So? Better than him but still not better than most of the class right? Why you always must compare with those worse than you?" Over demanding is not only not beneficial for a child's growth. If it's abit for healthy competition, that's fine.. but don't forget.. children take your words seriously and they will feel that they are never good in their parent's eyes.

There is a huge pandemic all over the world, and it is still propagating itself. The pandemic that causes children to drift away from their responsibilities and get involved with un-morally events. All simply because, they could not see themselves, the way they were meant to, the way their parents see them..

Without the encouragement a kid deserves, he/she lacks the parental figure that sees them, thus causing them to lack that perspective, an image from their parent's point of view of themselves..Sometimes a 'good job' can change a person's life completely. Is it that hard to compliment your own kid you love so much? Not like you'll lose part of your body for doing so also..

But then again, Because they're parents who have their heads stuck in the 50s all the above as reasonable as it all sound will not be able to get through their stubborn heads. So do you have parents whose brains needs a time machine to transport it back to the 21st century?

I rest my case.

What's hilarious tho , is the way i won it...

So, my housekeeper usually likes to put old newspapers under the plates of food on my dining table. So it's much easier for her to clear, should we spill food or whatever.
So one day, i was having my lunch at the dining table, and as usual my eyes would wander
and scan certain visable parts of the newspaper not blocked by plates or bowls. And it landed on

Hey guys, i know i promised to blog, but i went missing again. But thank you guys for being ever so patient with me ! Exams , for the past two weeks was mind wrecking. But thank god it's finally over and here i am back, to blogging again. Things that happened while i was away from the keyboard / the blog.

1. EXAMS!

But, was actually okay! I felt that i could manage leh.
But better not have my hopes too high right?!

2. ESSENTIAL HAMPER

Won the ESSENTIAL HAMPER from XiaXue, when i just decided to try
my luck at doing up a random survey , after reading her essential post.

BTW. I am definitely loving the Essential Hair Mask, it really works for my awfully-
rebonded-a-million-times-dried-like-shiet-hair. :D

3.BBQ with my Lovelies!

Apart from a few situations, everything turned out well
and we had tons of fun!

4. Trips

Seriously, the number of times Cheez's been down this couple of months , has really
broken records. Aww, thankyou baby!! Hugs* We seriously win as an LDR couple,
We're even planning for him to head down, for a DAY trip, to watch movie with me
then go back to KL . WIN! LOL!

5. SEMESTER 2

Whoots, so now basically i've just started school again. Semester two now and i can't wait to
finish this sem. Hope it comes and goes as fast as the first semester did. Hehe!
This sem's gonna have all the pretty fun subjects. *fingers crossed*
Advertising, Journalism, TV & Radio! Sounds fun right!!?!? hehehehe

Also been very caught up with TV & Radio Unit. I've upcoming production from
11am - 8pm this Friday. And it's actually a day with no class. T-T

5. ANNIVERSARY

Happy 22nd Monthsary baby!

I was in the midst of writing the post when, he logged in and wrote the previous post kay!
I didn't even know! How come blogger , allow double log-ins? Pfft! Anyways, thank you b for loving/caring/tahan-ing me throughout the past 22months despite all my nonsense/ltantrums/bitch fits! :p I love you so very much, and honestly,

I'd never forget the day when joshuaongys spoke to me on msn a long time back, and telling me that he & *her* loves each other more everyday. I've always thought that , the spark couples have at the start of the begining would usually die out after awhile.

So how exactly, does a couple love each other more and more every day! I've only heard of... ''everyday i love you less & less '' -( Kaiser Chiefs ) Heheheh Catchy song.. Basically, it was something i've never understood or experienced , in my previous relationships. But i do now :)
We're a month away from our two years. And once again, i am amazed at how fast time flies by. Just a blink , and it's 2 years already. Love you baby, more & more every passing day. *cheesy* And happy 22nd to Sharms & Ryan too!

seriously time flies so so fast. Recently it's been a really insane month for both of us, exams, tests, assignments, ridiculous lab schedules.. but even so we broke our personal record of the number of times we meet each other in a month lol.. almost weekly.. yes I know I feel the burn in the pocket too.. believe us we are feeling the pinch.. like totally!

so from this experience one can deduce that it definitely takes two to clap. We've sacrificed quite a lot, God has changed us for the better and still working on greater goals together and best of all, we're looking forward to every moment, together :D

Though most of the time I can't be there physically to present gifts or hug you, but every 21st is just as important as the first, one year, two year, three year anni, so this post is dedicated to us :)

Time flies, once again and another month has passed? It's been almost a month since
i saw cheez. And i'll be seeing him, again in 6 days time. We're gonna go on a secret trip
which will be updated soon. Reservations all set and paid, I can't wait! I need a breather,
need to get away. Somewhere where the water is blue, somewhere peaceful , somewhere i
no one knows us. Somewhere i've never been to ,Somewhere fun, Somewhere with adventures.

And i'll be able to do that in two weeks time. Quality time with you . Which is something i
don't get even though it's one of the main things that i ask for. All i want is some quality
time with you. Is that very demanding and difficult of me to ask? Anyways, School's been
really great. And i've been spending alot of time with my girls. I thank god for , bringing them
all new and old friends + baby and family into my life really.

The post that you saw below is what you call a very forced-and-cannot-make-it update by the boyfriend. I can even count the number of words, what more sentences and paragraphs!
So It's 12.44am in the morning, on the 22nd of April ( Thank god class starts at 3.30?), Yesterday we celebrated our 19th Monthsary! 5 more months till we hit the big OH-TWO mark. So, Happy belated monthsary baby! I love you! And, those that im close to, would probably would have known that i have already started school, since Monday. School's been okay. Made new friends , slowly by the passing day. Some looked pretty intimidating at first , some looked anti social , some looked bitchy but You really can't judge a book by it's cover , they're all really nice and i hope that it's a great start to the year?! I need to freaking do well so that universities in aussie will accept me, cos i'd kill to get away from the heat in Singapore. Like i always tell my mom '' I was meant to hold an australian passport '' ;p

Anyways, I'm blogging up a super belated and overdued post which should have been blogged about like early April? It's my birthday post. So , screw this , im old now cos im Eighteen. Haven't gotten many chances to make use of my golden 18 ticket yet. Still waiting for d girls to get theirs so we can all hit the clubs together (LEGALLY )! But am planning to club hop in the awesome clubs over in KL one of these day with the boyfriend and some friends ;) Anyways, turning Eighteen also means, getting my Driving License! Which , i will be redeeming at the end of the year when my parents see my results. Oh boy, am i ever ready to get my results and hit the wheel!

It was a pretty wild and awesome two days! So basically I booked two connecting suites at the Hard Rock Hotel Singapore(which rocks hands down btw ) invited the clique plus really close friends , and their other halves plus alot of booze plus food plus an music plus a private balcony for smoking oh and not forgetting plus Universal studios in the day and two days after and you get an unforgettable 18th birthday~Alot of drinking and drunk action going on so you get some of the pictures. haha

Im back , just to fill in some words into a mundane blog. So much for promises of more updates now that we're both sharing a blog. I think there are so many solo bloggers out there who blogs way more frequently than we do. But then again, there's nothing much going on it our lives, blogging about it would be equally as mundane. Because we're both so caught up with work, projects and assignments. Life's been terribly routine ish. Rise &Shine , Off to work , Home, shower, dinner, Phone for awhile, sleep. Next day repeat.We hardly have time for each other, what more this blog. But i don't want to be making exueses so i'm squeezing some time to fill up this big white box with words!! Yay.

Well so what 's been going on, baby's busy with school and i'll be seeing him in about 2 weeks time, when he heads down for my birthday :) I've been busy with work. In order to save myself from social suicide, headed out shopping with deborah last sunday. Got home and parents announced that they're buying a third house. Vacation home in M'sia ! Actually they already bought it. wtf right. It's in a resort expat residency area in Nusajaya called Horizon Hills. It has a club house, and even a golf range! Basically it's like a landed housing area with condo facilities + Trekking routes and a 18 hole par 72 Golf course!! SO excite please!!!! hahah I can bring my girls over for like a short vacation and what nots!! And so excite that i have 2 rooms for me to deco now. My other new house at Jurong and vacation home :D Bwahahaha!!

Hello baby!

Don't ask.. I couldn't think of a better header. But,B while you're away at camp i'm here
typing this, hoping it'll bring a smile to your face when you turn on your computer on Monday.
Today marks our eighteen months together baby.Has it really been one and a half years
since that day that we decided to risk so many things. To give ourselves a new start.
To conquer that distance. To learn to love again. I thank god that he's brought you
into my life. We've had our ups and downs and i've never regretted any of the arguments
we had either. God has been good to us! (: He has brought us closer to each other, in so many ways and kept us strong in so many situations. We've grown alot throughout these 18 months.
With his blessings. And learnt so much about each other, strength and flaws. Thank you baby
For your unconditional love. For everything that you do for me. Even the slightest gesture of calling me randomly to see how im doing. I appreciate them all. And just so you know, That's pretty much all i need, to face up to my battle against the distance every single day. And i hope it's goes the same for you too. We're back from our awesome roadtrip! I really thank God we got the chance to meetup.. it was really a great trip and definitely some new experiences eh b? xP

Anyways, wake up in the mornin feelin like p diddy.. spent most of my time in this position.

Yeah so erm, for a start try doing 3 sets - hold for 30 secs, like plank or prone bridge. When you get better you can lift one leg up, then one hand, then both hands wtheck random bbq. neways i love driving around, heading on roadtrips. baby loves them too. a lot (:

Neways, we wuz in KL for a bit for baby to do her hair. I actually did a lotta research on epic stylists in the klang valley, went through malaysianbabes forum and all.. And it came down to 2 people. Albert Nico and Shawn Loong. Google them for their achievements, both are really talented and epic hair stylists. The difference between the 2 of them are the experience actually - Albert is sort of the elite, hes been in the scene wayy before Shawn. Shawn is a rising talent as well, not to be missed. Nevertheless Albert did baby's hair and now it's EVEN MORE AWESOME YO.

Albert did a great job, though the entire styling is a wee bit expensive as quite a lot of people would say, but its value for money la. You get what you pay for ma haha. He's really devoted and passionate about style and hair.

Another good news, I hear there's mail for you b! x)

PS: The drive home really sucked without you. I kinda had a moment just feeling empty knowing you left and I wont be able to see you again until April. :( I miss you. Really thank God for this opportunity. And the next as well. (: I can't wait x) Ily.

Headed to Sentosa with the my favourite girls for tanning today. The weather was perfect.
Thank goodness, we all don't live hours away from the beach. hahah Today was a blast, had
loads of fun though, i'm totally drained out of 98% of my energy. Got tanned, and am now

HELLO! Just done with reunion dinner, with my whole family. Steamboat was aweshumz. :)
Haha, well, just wana update on something that took place today! Baby & I celebrated bestie's
birthday today. In advanced of course. I couldn't make it to celebrate with him personally. ;(
But , passed baby money and Chocolates from France, together with a pretty fugly handwritten birthday card because i have fugly handwriting via my parents when they went over to KL for a day and met up with baby.

So, with that i got baby to buy bestie a cake and to send his cake + Chocs + notes to him.
Baby happened to be heading down to sepang area , for his reunion dinner, so might as
well drop by with the cake for a small celebration huh! Hoped you liked the surprise and
enjoyed the cake. Sad, i wasn't there to taste it!!! haha

Gong Hei Fatt Choi!!!

Time passes too fast,just a few weeks back i was at Sentosa counting down to 2010 and now, im blogging on Chinese New Year's Eve! I love it when my entire family gets together ,for 3 days in a row. I love that 're nao' feeling. I love how that these three days, Grandma will b cooking all her signature dishes, from LongTong, Curry Chicken / Mutton , Mee Siam, Ngor Hiang to Cheng teng , popiah , Braised duck , Steamboat and many more. Enough to feed more than 40 over people everyday that will be here for the next 3 days from breakfast to dinner :) Of course i Love how big my family is, because that means more angpow money $.$ haha. But this year..

I Love Love Love how i get to celebrate my Chinese New year with baby. Even tho, not on the main days itself but still love that i get to see you again. Thankyou for that superr long vday dedication on national radio. haha, it was so unexpected but really really sweet. I Loved it and i seriously thought BLG was coming to singapore again (wtf) even after the dedication, i didnt realise that it was an alibi to get me to tune in. HAHA. (Was stil anticipating the BLG songs to be played so i could win tickets , when they 'come again' -.- ) Really am blur.

Hiiiii,

bet u thought I wouldn't write again! Anyways, this is my final week of school before the lunar new year, it's kinda true how some people have been telling me that this year's CNY doesn't feel like CNY, doesn't really have the feel. Though initially I actually agreed to that statement.. IM STARTING TO GET INTO THE WHOLE CNY SPIRIT! :D:D:D:D

I CANT WAIT TO GET MY ANGPAOSSS. :x Actually it isn't really so much about the angpaos (yeah right), but seriously, it isntla. Its that time of the year again to realise what CNY is cuz after 12 months of not seeing your relatives, though we see each other every now and then when parents make short trips.. still the reunion during CNY just draws an entire different feel.

And a plus point this year, never before in previous CNYs - I GET TO CELEBRATE IT WITH YOUUU (: Yes you baby. (: Really can't wait to see you.

Betcha took a double take ,and checked the url bar to see if you're actually on the right blog. Well, you are! I have just wasted half the day searching for a new blogskin and editing it. The previous blogskin was getting to me, because there seem to be a layer of grey covering my pictures and words. This layout is so much prettier, cleaner ,bigger and of course, the pictures are very very much clearer. I also, started on Echo. It's something like HaloScan, but better.

Anyways, as you can see cheez and I have just crossed our 16th monthsary mark. He hasn't been blogging , because he's been lazy to i think. And oh, pretty much busy with just about everything. I've been caught up with work. Seriously, thank god for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays man. Work is draining every bit of energy in me. I know, all i do is sit in the office ,doing up listings 8 hours a day. But It's straining my EYES, BACK!

I used to wonder why adults complain that work is tiring when all they do is Sit and type. Nothing physical what! IT IS THAT TIRING!!!!! But at least my job allows me to chat on Msn, linger on facebook and even blog! ( Some companies block msn, facebook and everything else, so you're basically forced to stone at your work for 8 hours everyday ) And all i ever do is to, copy and paste listings. Mom says my job is overpaid. I think it's just nice, so i am not complaining!!! I am also probably the only person in my small department to travel so effin far to and fro from work. Ok fine, Angie my colleague stays at Bukit Timah which is further but her mom SENDS and PICKS her from work EVERYDAY!!! -_- Can't believe i'll be doing this until school starts in April.

Mom are you reading this?? If you are, you might wana consider doing that for me too. xD

This blog, is officially dead and i'm here on a mission to revive it once and for all! Well, Cheez & I have been caught up with many things. Oh, in case some of you didn't know that, baby & I headed up to KL for a week for me to get to know his family and vice versa (: Auntie and Uncle were very very welcoming and i enjoyed my time there. We also, once again took the opportunity to catch up with friends and my bestie and did a little bit of shopping at Sungei wang because i've never been there before. One thing i found out about that place is that, everything looks the same. And i guess it is! Because , i apparently found a pair of shoes in at least 7 different shops. So basically it's just the same pair of shoes but with a different shop logo on it -.-

Anyways, another reason as to why we've been so caught up is also because i have just recieved my 'o' level results and it wasn't pleasant in the slightest bit. So we've been busy going around searching on courses and checking the many different schools offering diploma courses out. It is, important that i chose something i'd like to pursue a career in. You can say i'm pretty excited for college to start! But a little scared too. Lol. As for cheez. A new school year will be starting for him on the 18th. Which is this coming monday. Which means, he'll be leaving soon. He's set to leave got KL , this saturday. pretty bummed about it but, i'll be seeing him again really soon. hopefully it'll be the chinese new years! (:

So while he's back in school, i have managed to find myself a 9-5 office job, with the position of Customer Service executive for 3whole months until school starts! (: The place, seems pretty chillax and has a fun vibe! Best thing , no shoes!! Because, it's carpeted and i don't have to wear formal!! cool or whut! (; That ought to keep me busy until i get to see baby again. In the mean time, i better get to bed now. Because first day of work starts tomorrow!! ( So excited i tell you! Lol) I wouldn't want to be caught dozing off on my first day! So .. ciao!!

Europe Part Tres ( Switzerland. Berne,Lucerne,Interlaken )

The very next day from Geneve, we carried on with the roadtrips and arrived at the Capital of Switzerland ,Bern. Berne is really pretty. Most of the building there are 15th centuries old. We took a walk of the old town,to view the dazzling fountains with statues. And a 16th Century clock tower with it's many painted figures.

On the same street stands House No.49 which was once the home of Albert Einstein where he wrote the 'Theory Of Relativity' in 1905! The place has now been turned into a mini museum.

After, we left the Capital of Berne and headed towards Lucerne, another city in Switzerland. They had a huge shopping area, and big labels like H&M and Macy's are located there too.
We also took a photo stop at the 'Lion Monument' a masterful stone sculpture in honor of the heroic swiss Guards of Louis XVI during the French Revolution. There was a huge wishing pond there as well, all of us took a coin each, and made a wish.

We put up, at the Monopol Hotel, a hotel in the heart of the city for the night, before heading to Interlaken. It's pretty because, when you open the curtains, you see the hustle and bustle of the city in the night and in the day.

The next day, we packed up for the very small town but beautiful of Interlaken. It only takes a 20mins walk to get from one end of the town to another. Cute right (: From Interlaken, we were ablt to get a view of the mighty Jungfrau Mountain, which we were to go to the next day. On the way there, we pass by beautiful snow covered grounds and houses. It was a winter wonderland.

Im gonna stop here, at our first night /day in Interlaken. Because the trip up to Mount Jungfrau, will include alot of pictures! So i'll blog about that in a separate post. Read the papers that it snowed heavily at Notre Dame Yesterday. Sigh, why wouldn't it snow earlier!!! Ouh wells. (:

Europe Part Dos ( Switzerland. Geneve, Vevey, Montreux )

Well, so from Paris we made our way via bus into Switzerland. I love Switzerland because the people are really friendly and also because it's made up of 70% mountains and 30% civilisation. Or so, the tour guide says. Each town/ city is surrounded by mountains. It was a long journey passing by beautiful Burgundy Vineyards and vast farmlands. We all woke at 5am and had to make a move by 6am in the morning, in order to reach Geneve, where we will be staying for a night. However, along the way we also made mulitple stops at the different cantons/ towns in Switzerland.

Our FIRST stop. The very beautiful town of Lausanne!
We headed to the Olympic Museum. There was also, of course a very magnificient view of the Mountains and sea.

And we took the opportunity for some camwhoring moments of course!

Next stop, we headed to the beautiful towns of Vevey and Montreux!
Where we visited the Famous statue of Charlie Chaplin in Vevey, as he lived there once before.
Omg do you know, he married two 16 Year old girls? His third was was 18 and he was 50+!
And we also visited the beautiful historical medieval fortress, The Chilion Castle at Montreux!

Pedophile..lol!

Oh! And in Switzerland, every town has a lake/ Sea. And there are ALWAYS wild swans and ducks! Adorable!

I'm actually pretty lazy to blog about the whole trip, because it's 4am in the morning and also because i've got a million pictures. Been to too many places. I had to try to recall everything interesting and write it down on a paper for this post.But it'll be worth it! Anyways, since i went to a million places. The post will obviously be divided into different parts. Probably just three. If not, the post will be like really really long. Dividing it, will give me time to digest what to write about as well.

So, Europe is just plain amazing. what more can I say? I'm currently suffering from post Europe blues. I've been there for so many days but i never once felt home sick. Well, basically i went to four countries. Shanghai,France,Switzerland and Germany. Spent most of the days in Switzerland and going around to it's different cantons (States). But i'll get to that in the next post. Today will just be Pictures and Paris. I was just in Shanghai for a 8Hour transit. Plane to France was 12 hours long. It was excruciating! But, that aside. I think Food on board is pretty yummy. Yoshinoya can't even compare!

Shanghai was about 7Degrees cold. I could so get used to low temperatures! There was nothing much there tho. All winter jackets and coats. And people selling non authentic LV purses for 100RenMingBi,which is really cheap actually! ahah. But it's fake so mom didn't buy because, if you didn't know. If you get caught with a fake bag/wallet in Europe. You actually get Fined pretty badly!

Like i said, food on board is yummy!

First time, i had so much money to spend and don't know what to buy. LOL
Felt so good wei. hahah. anyways. Bought many other things la, but too lazy to type.
Like, Boots for $170 and trenchcoat for like $200. Of which im gona use for our London trip next year. Baby's present cost me a bomb too. But not saying what it is till christmas (:
Oh, we spent like $59 Euros on Macdonalds. THATS LIKE $120 SGD!!! wtfishh. (Doh not acting rich, just miscalculation of conversion rate and giving a rough amount -.- Even if its not 200 ,$120 for MACs is still MAD INSANE OK. Hello we wanted to eat something cheap so we went to MACs, only to find that it was that expensive. -.- not flaunting wealth -.-)
$120 for MACs is INSANE. lool and you even have to pay if you want sauces!

Anyways.

That's pretty much all for France,Paris! Shopping & Sightseeing. Amazing place.
Except that, French people are pretty stuck up =/ Or maybe it's just me. haha
Didn't stay too long in paris. Expect more pictures from Switzerland! Trust me,

Heeya. Currently blogging from my Hotel, Holiday Inn Frankfurt,Germany. Have been in Europe for sooo many days. Im not home sick tho. I love this place sooo much. I don't want to go home so soon.
But im coming back again,next year hopefully. England next year thoo. xD I want to settle down here!!!

Anyways,

I'll be super jet lagged when im home. I've got a 12hour flight from Germany to Shanghai. A 8hour transit there and then a 6Hour flight from Shanghai to Singapore. Which will be about 9pm in the night. Tired tired tired. I hate long flights. :/ But, food on board the plane is actually pretty yummayyy x)

Soo, the pictures are all in my camera and i didn't bring the camera. I have tonnns of pictures anyway.Looking at the number of places i actually been to. Four countries mind you. lolol Oh and a tonn of bags to carry home. Looking at d everything we bought from our shopping trips.

I went to Europe well prepared, in my mind i was going ''H&M! H&M!!!!!' and yes i officially love H&M!! COME TO SINGAPORE SOON PLEASEE :( Oh &i bought many X'mas presies for my darlings. If ure lucky u might get H&M!!!! Im so tempted to take all d H&M products n keep it for myself tho xD ok im ranting. will post a proper post (WITH PICTURES)when i get back! Baby's currently touring M'sia with his family and won't be able to go online. He's in Berjaya Hills. A nite of nostalgia indeed

Well, that was the theme for prom this year. Everyone complained when we were told that prom was going to be held in school,as the school building would be undergoing major renovations and will be torn down and rebuilt again after 75 years of being there. So much for prom being held in an amazing hotel ballroom. It got worse when i passed by school the eve of prom to teach tuition and saw the setup. Tents. and Red chairs, like those you see at carnivals. It was awful.
Then, a group of girls came out of the lift all giggly and dressed up beautifully with make up, wearing their formal gowns for prom at a hotel. Well, it was pretty obvious.

I was not looking forward to prom at all! But at the end of the night, the set up didn't matter anymore. It was the company. Everyone looked so pretty! The fact that im finally graduated from High school hasn't hit me yet. I don't want it to. Well not now anyways. I want to dwell in my comfort zone a little bit more, before i head out into a whole new adventure, another phase of my life. Im thankful that baby have been here with me a lot lately. For being there through my O levels and being here for my graduation. Watching me go on that stage to receive my certificate. It means alot to me. Oh and aunty and uncle for allowing him down south. I know, it seems like i've been stealing your son from you guys xD But most importantly i'd thank god, for everything. It was all made possible by you lord.

Sooooo, we 're finally updating with pictures!!Today's post is sorta of a combined blogging thing, just that baby's in KL and im in SG. lol Anyways I'm down with most of my O level papers and left with 3 more to go! In the meantime, guess i'll update with our makan/ shisha/ camwhore session with Jess & Josh! Jess was down in SG for the Nuffnang Blog awards.

Which i wasn't able to make it due to exams. Nevertheless, great to be able to go for a makan session with them again, especially since baby& I have been both so out of touch with nuffnang and basically blogging. Good to know that even though we've been kinda out of touch, we still have friends we got to know from nuffnang, that still contacts us. Unlike some that becomes fehmes n forget who their initial friends were before they got fehmes T-T (not like it affects us la, but just beh tahan people like that so gotta rant abit) Met them at Clarke Quay MRT, they went shopping before meeting us T-T Haven't gone shopping in awhile already. Hate exams.hate exams.hate exams.

SO ANYWAYS. I recommended that we head to Dallas Restaurant and Bar for dinner. It was affordable, the ambiance was really pretty. It's just in front of the Singapore River and, i celebrated my birthday there this year with my friends and felt that it was worth returning again, since we had plans to shisha nearby after. I think double dates are funnnn !!! :)

And as you could have told. We were cam whoring alotttt. Took quite a number of pictures, felt that it wasnt nice and re took them again. haha heck, we even took a video!! But it's with Jess.
Hurhur, time to log off and let baby continue with the second part of our double date !! Any couple up for a double date soon? :p

We spent the rest of the days while I was in SG to help baby with her Os, watching family guy (like LOADS of it) and getting hooked onto the whole SG McD's monopoly sales gimmick.

Ugh. It's been so long since i've blogged. And look at the number of times i've said that sentence andthen say ' but im back to blog again ' and disappear for another month. lol no seriously. I've been really caught up with Os. But the horrors are ending in another 8 days time!! 4 papers down and 5 more to go. I can smell the freedom already!! Im rather tempted to burn my books already!Gonna make my dream of having a bonfire with the girls come true :p

Nuff bout examss, baby's leaving tomorrow already :( When i've just only gotten used to waking up to him every morning. Well, leaving for a week i mean :p He'll be back again on the 11th of November, my last paper. *sings freedom* Im getting tired of the blogskin. Alo alo! Hey thereee, I'm back from home.. I wana go back. Home sick already :( Home is where baby is at a.k.a. Forfar Heights, Strathmore Avenue :( Just arrived in MY yesterday, and it has been such a great week. I really thank God I've had such an awesome week after them hectic finals.. I'm sure baby did too! (:

Anywayss long story short, we celebrated my 21st Birthday together! Now for a second there I really thought we were going to go to a chalet on sentosa to just have a celebration and put up a night there... I was so wrong lol.

Woke up in the morning and we had to make a move to Harbourfront, apparently to meet a friend. "oh and don't forget to bring your passport leh, I don't think it's safe to leave your passport at home" *why do I need a passport to go to sentosa LOL* *Felt weird before leaving when dad asked me to call them.. if anything happens, they got contacts down there.* Down where wei lol. *seriously, go sentosa need to call backup? lollolol*

So go to Harbourfront and needed to meet this 'friend' at Starbucks, lol I thought chong was gonna pop out of nowhere, with Jin, perhaps. Or later la at sentosa. Still, thought maybe this is the friend baby's talking bout ma lol.

Baby : "Baby close your eyess"
Me: "Whaii?"
Baby : "Just closeee"
Me: "Aaa okay la okay la" *at least I get to know what it is*
Baby : "Okay you can open your eyes now!"

Honestly, how many people are that fortunate to be taken off to an island BY SURPRISE to celebrate their birthday! well not blindfolded and then SURPRISE (cuz you probably wouldn't get pass the immigration dept without being suspected as a terrorist with that blind llolol)

Anyways, dam syokla, super psyched about going d. I didn't know what to expect. Is it dangerous? Is it ulu? Is it like just another Malaysian island I've been to that's affected by the ongoing monsoon? Is it filled with illegal immi.. I mean, is it filled with loads of people? Isolated? Conjested?

While waiting for the gates to be open.. there was this shop.. they should be Why Pay More, instead of DFS ._. DFS lol sounds like some game, like NFS lol. Anyways, no they don't sell PS3, Wii or 360.

AND I THOUGHT THIS KINDA PLACES ONLY EXISTED IN DUTY FREE LANGKAWI OR JB! oops sorry caps. I meant to do it :D Dam excite kay! Our Bailey's was only $34! (ITS CHEAP DOLLAR TO DOLLAR OKAY, DONT CONVERT CUZ I KNOW UR DOING THAT RIGHT NOW. xD) And check out this Absolut Rock below la, a must-have for poyo rockstars - Someone ought to send some to the Jonas, and those people who were involved with camp rock hahahahahha

And we're off! onto our ferry ride which was so motion-sickness-ifying. Actually not that seriousla, but I felt a bit dizzy after going to the toilet. Managed to deduce the formula of

Then there was this guy who had this face -.- who was in charge at the immigration, did not allow baby and I to have our passports stamped together and insisted we go one by one. Seriously as if we're gonna start a riot? Yah me and my baby start a riot LOL i would wanna see that.

Oh one thing to note is the highly commended service of Holiday Inn. I don't know if it's like that at EVERY Holiday Inn resort, but the workers there are just SO FRIENDLY. And these guys don't just treat their guests to feel like their at home, they treat each other the same way too! Talk about harmony wei. In malaysia.. they don't give two hoots about each other, guests - they probably do it cuz it's their job, and some of them don't even practice it lol.

And ourselves of course lollol. It was drizzle-pouring (in between drizzling and pouring la) when we arrived, had to suit up with sweaters.
And we haven't had lunch since we arrived, my tummy was already pestering me to pester baby to makan, but baby asked me to wait for the cake. And it arrived eventually, on the house yo! Free caaaaakkkkkeeeee (:

I'm a happy boy, i mean, MAN. sorry I keep forgetting my age is catching up with me hahhaa

And off we went for lunch! We were told the Thai Orchid had some all you can eat promo, but it was only open till 2 and it was 2+ almost 3 already, but we decided to give it a shot anyway since it was drizzle-pouring.

Thank God it was still open, even with our Malayporean timing we were still in time! Cuz we were in Indon. lol. Indon time is -1 hour behind MY n SG time. So it was still before 2 and we managed to grab a bite there. Good stuff tho, learnt a trick on cooking baby kailan from the baby kailan fried w salted fish! that's the trick! it really tastes different from normal baby kailan fried with just garlic ok! more pics!

Baby I know I should take classes for swimming la, uber fail lolollol but I CAN TREAD WATER K. Okay technically I don't know how to, but can somehow float so..should be fine rite? ahhaha. Anyways, after we swam.. tummy called again, we couldn't decide where to eat, definitely NOT the Thai Orchid again, so decided to take a look at the menu for the other eateries - Terrace Cafe, Akusumthingsumthingmono Teppanyaki and Dragon Inn Restaurant (this is a seriously misleading name - is it an inn? or a restaurant ._. )

In the end we decided on..

That yang chou fried rice rocks man. And baby, I dono why but this picture makes me hungry everytime i look at it, even now, as I'm typing this out lolollol.

There's not much of a nightlife around Holiday Inn cuz it's rather secluded from town centre, but that also makes it a bit more peaceful and somewhat secure la. We ordered a jug of milk which came along with the sweet and sour prawns served in d pineapple, and it was the same dude who attended to us at Thai Orchid who brought our meal right to our doorstep! Along with the overpriced milk.. it was almost the same price as our bottle of Bailey's.. that's how ex it is man..

That was pretty much day one and we woke up to thissss.

Ya got MIST OKAY! So nice right you mist like in genting or camerons, yet we're on an island and mind you, Holiday Inn is just a stone throw's away from the pier! Literally. seriously, run there also can wei.

Anw it's not mistla, it's my cam getting foggy cuz of difference in air-cond room temp and the sunlit morning. Off to breakfast, a complimentary international buffet at the Terrace Cafe :D They have quite a variety here though it's more to western kinda buffet, but asian food oso have la.

A few more pics we took before we had to check out :( It was only a 2 day 1 night trip, but seriously that 1 hour difference in timezone was really significant it felt like we had extra hours to live lol!

Back on the Golden Image and heading back to Harbourfront SG.

I've done many 2d1n trips before and they're always fun. But this one, this is really different. It'll be a special and great memory. I'm glad I got to celebrate my 21st with you, baby. (: All of this could've happened because of Him and you (: Thank you for everything, not just this celebration, but for being there for me through it all.

Whoops. School's officially over for the Graduating students of CHIJ St Theresa's Convent as of yesterday the 2nd of October 2009 for our study break in preparation for the 'O' Levels. This is
probably the first time i'm not rejoicing at the fact that School's over. I woke up this morning and thought to myself. 'Damn! Five years in secondary school is over. I'm really at the cross road junction deciding where I 'm heading towards. In a few weeks time, i'll be sitting at the examination hall taking my O Levels. And in months, i'll be moving on to a whole new environment and going to be meeting new people. It's actually pretty scary moving out of that familiar place and system. Into the next stage of my life, of which im very unfamiliar with. But as much as it scares, I'm very excited to get out of my comfort zone and to step into a whole new adventure of a pre- uni life.

Now, all i gotta do is to start mugging. haha which i have been doing. But i feel , is not enough. Which is why i have to mug harder. On a lighter note, Baby's coming to Singapore tomorrow :)
And i guess i'll definitely be able to get alot more work done, knowing that he's around to help
me with my studies. I'm gonna drag him and myself to the library everyday and mug mug mug.
We're not gonna turn into nerds, but I'm just doing what i feel is necessary for my future.

Oh, studies aside. Baby's actually coming down to celebrate his 21st birthday with me, this coming thursday. Since i cannot make a trip up, due to my O levels starting on the 22nd of October. I've planned a surprise for him on that day :) Which we'll definitely blog about, after his birthday with pictures galore. But, if you're nice. You might want to wish my baby a Happy 21st on the 8th Of October! And if you've happen to be passing by or just reading perhaps. Do leave a comment or at least a tag. Yes finally omg after so long weyh. It has probably been one of the worst exams I've ever sat for in my life, felt as if I was answering 3/4 of my exam papers in the dark, literally didn't know what the heck was going on.. I honestly DID prepare for it okeiii! Either way, big man I know whatever the outcome is it is goodla, just maybe not good now.. later still good ma.

Ok anywaysss, I DO BLOG. Rawr. Been down with sore throat for quite awhile, hope my voice didn't scare u away baby xD I actually had plans of heading down immediately after my exams aHAHahaha but I wasn't okay yet and I made matters worse by sleeping late.. and excessive long distance travels between kl and my house.. sorry I got you worried baby :(

I haven't really got the chance to say this but thanks baby :D For being there through everything, when I'm sick, down, low, or happy, or retarded (not literally) and for spending a sleepless night to find a blogskin to settle with for our blog. (If I were to pick it may look like my exercise book which I scribble on, which does not have any aesthetic value or watsoever)

Time caught up with us once again, and after 6days here in Singapore with me. Cheez went back this afternoon on the 1230pm bus. I still haven't gotten the hang of not-missing him everytime he leaves and always end up sobbing away like a baby in the cab home. haha, how embarassing. But i didn't this time. He's coming again in 13days time. It'll be like him going away for a short holiday!

Anyways, you guys will be expecting alot more pictures to be uploaded here on this blog soon.Since we both now have a camera each. I hope you like the FujiFilm Cam i got for you baby :) Since you've been telling me for god knows how long, that you're gonna get yourself a camera
very soon. So why not, i surprise you with one as your anniversary present! x)

Graduation Photoshoot

It's roughly two more weeks or 8 more days till the closure of High School for us,the Graduating classes and another two more days till our Patron's day ceremony. I know alot of us are gonna cry. I've been telling myself to hold my tears back for Graduation Day or maybe even Prom. But i don't think i'll be able to do so, when i see everyone crying and reminiscing about our past 5 years in High School .I'll probably break down and cry like a baby myself and we'll all be taking
pictures with bloodshot red and puffy watery eyes. These pictures may not be the prettiest but
many years down the road. We'll look at those pictures and faces and when we think about all that we've gone through together those years. You'll probably feel that, that's one of the best pictures you've ever taken :)

Helllo! Cheez & I are actually just stoning in front of the screen not knowing what to blog about.Writers block.( no pun intended.) Shows how long, it's been since we've actually sat down and blogged properly on our own separate blogs. But it's because of that, that we have decided to start blogging - together under one roof, i mean, blog. And because two is better than one, and the fact that there are now two people contributing to this blog, you get the best of both worlds and wouldn't have to keep coming back to a stagnant blog. :D

Oh,and this blog is also to keep close friends and mostly each other updated about our lives and current affairs. Yes it's CNN, except you don't have to pay for it.
